  17. Some people were wondering how serious F1 are about licensing their
  18. programming efforts. As far as I can see quite serious.

  20. My editor called asking if I were willing to write a review, as the
  21. deadline for the next issue of Amiga Magazine is nearing and they
  22. still have a few pages to fill. Apparently F1 had been flooding his
  23. desk with review copies of the software they sell. So in the next issue
  24. there will be a review of Magic Paint Box (not by me, BTW) and
  25. hopefully my review of The Graphical Adventure Creator (GRAC 2).

  27. The packaging looks nothing special, but you notice that at least
  28. some care has gone into it.
  29. On the front of the manual it says: "Recommended retail price of #6.99,
  30. of which the programmer will receive a 25 % royalty payment share from
  31. F1 Software."
  32. The two disks used are TDK.
  33. I estimate that P&P (I don't know if it's included in the price, though)
  34. would run up to somewhere around #1.75.

  36. As the deadline is approaching rapidly (Amiga Magazine had originally
  37. hoped to use the space for a review of the Surfer package, but
  38. apparently AT is giving them the cold shoulder [not just them though,
  39. the package still isn't for sale]) I invite you all to send in comments
  40. you might have about GRAC 2. I cannot give you a mention or pay you for
  41. any help you might give. The only reason I ask for help is that I
  42. cannot hope to explore the program fully in the time I have left for
  43. writing the article.
